Holistic Integration
Mission readiness means preparing your head, heart, and body. Your group will learn a theological framework for mission, but also explore essential topics of culture, poverty, and spiritual disciplines.

The Mission-Ready Pre-Service Training curriculum includes companion workbooks for each participant before (Field Guide), during (choice of 30-day devotional journal), and after (Re-Entry Journal) your mission trip.

Training is the scaffolding on which lasting change takes hold. This curriculum series will prepare participants to serve with the heart of Jesus, engage cross-culturally, and enter into their trip or service experience with a theological framework for missions. Over-and-over, we have seen this kind of training be a catalyst for long-term discipleship.

How does this training for groups work?
This course includes a Facilitator Guide to provide a step-by-step overview, helping a Team Leader walk through multiple pre-trip training sessions with their team. Included in the Facilitator Guide, along with the online course portal, is everything you'll need to run your group training including team building activities, teaching videos, lesson integration, small group discussions and spiritual formation exercises. Each student will also be equipped with a Field Guide to enhance their learning and to take notes that correspond with each unit.

What materials are included in the training curriculum?
The Mission Ready curriculum is comprehensive, including ice breakers and team building activities for each session, followed by teaching videos, discussion questions for small group interaction, and a spiritual practice to implement at the end of each training.
Additionally, media slides with scripture, visual aids, and discussion questions are also included.
You'll receive everything you need between the Facilitator Guide and the online portal to hold at least seven pre-trip training sessions with your group.

Are any other items needed to implement this curriculum with my group?
Yes, you will need to purchase a Mission Trip Resource Bundle per participant. This bundle includes a Field Guide, 30-day Trip Devotional, and Re-Entry Journal.
The Field Guide is an essential resource that corresponds directly to the Mission-Ready training curriculum. Students will be instructed to follow along during each training session by taking notes in their Field Guide, and additional materials are included in this helpful resource to guide the trip while on-site for thoughtful engagement and reflection that connects back to the pre-trip training.
Resource Bundles cost $30 per person for the 3-book set and are delivered to the church or organization address to be distributed to each team member.
You will indicate the number of resource bundles you need to purchase on the order form.

What age groups is this training good for?
This Mission-Ready curriculum content is specifically curated to be relevant and engaging for middle school to high school and college students. While youth are our main audience for this curriculum (because we love students!), the content is applicable for any age who are preparing for service and mission trips. It can also be utilized for mixed-age or family teams.

What if I am sending multiple teams and need trainer access for more than one person?
Our pricing structure reflects the total number of participants you are training to send. With different price categories, up to 5 trainers or Team Leaders can receive individual user logins to access their own Facilitator Guide and corresponding curriculum materials and media.
For churches training up to 60 participants, you can receive up to 3 different user logins. For churches training more than 60 participants, up to 5 different user logins are available upon request.

Do you offer group discounts?
For this Mission-Ready curriculum, there is a flat fee for one year use. Multiple licenses are available and the price adjusts according to the number of participants you are training to be sent to serve. This keeps the cost of the training per person similar regardless of church size or number of teams being mobilized.
Group discounts are not available for the required Missions Trip Resource Bundle (Field Guide, Devotional Journal, and Re-Entry Journal) for each participant. Bundles cost $30 per person and this fee is added into your final invoice.
